    Title & Meta

The title contains the main keyword at the beginning (if possible)
The SEO title is between 50 and 60 characters so it is not cut off in the SERP
The meta description is 150-160 characters and includes a Call to Action (CTA)
The meta description includes the keyword and a secondary variant of it
The URL (slug) is short, descriptive and contains only the keyword

    Content Structure

The article has a single Heading 1 (H1), i.e. the page title
The subheadings (H2, H3, H4) are organized logically, like a table of contents
Paragraphs are short (max 3-4 sentences) for quick reading on mobile
You use numbered lists, tables or bullet points for easy formatting
The article has an optimal length (recommended over 800-1000 words)

    Keywords

The main keyword appears naturally in the first 100 words (first paragraph)
Keyword density is around 1-2% (no keyword stuffing)
You use LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing) variations and synonyms
You directly answer the frequently asked questions related to the keyword (FAQ schema)

    Images

The article contains a quality representative image (Featured Image)
Images have a descriptive ALT attribute explaining what they contain
Images are compressed and have optimal dimensions (WebP format recommended)
Image file names use hyphens (e.g. mens-sport-shoes.jpg)

    Links

You included at least 3 internal links to other relevant articles on the site
You included 1-2 external links to high-authority sources (Wikipedia, Forbes, etc.)
The links use clear, relevant anchor text, not text like 'click here'

    Finalization

The article fully satisfies the user's search intent
You included a clear Call to Action (CTA) at the end of the article
The text is grammatically correct, fluent and free of spelling mistakes

Secure the First Page in Google

Why do we write blog articles? So that Google shows them to the searches of our potential customers. Yet the greatest text in the world will stay hidden on page 4 if the search engine does not clearly understand what it is about.

"On-Page optimization is the translation of your article into a format and structure that algorithms love, without ruining the experience for the human reader."

Making sure you apply the checklist above to every article you publish is the difference between a post that brings zero visitors and a traffic magnet that keeps generating passive sales day after day, month after month.
